Very few tell you who issued it, what it actually covers, or how to check it yourself. Here's what Aabdar holds, in plain terms, with the numbers to verify each one.
Why this is worth five minutes of your time
Bottled water is something your household drinks every single day, often without a second thought about where it came from. A certificate on a website is easy to claim and easy to fake. A certificate with a real issuer, a real licence number, and a way to independently verify it is a different thing entirely — and it's the standard we think every water brand should be held to, including us.
The four things Aabdar actually holds
- Halal Certification — Minhaj Halal Certification (Pvt.) Ltd., certificate MHC/CIV/26259, valid 8 Jun 2026 – 7 Jun 2027, covering the full processing and packaging of our drinking water under PS 3733:2022 (R) OIC/SMIIC 1:2019.
- ISO 22000:2018 — assessed by AVA Certification LLC (IAS-accredited, MSCB-301), certificate FSMS-20.26/08653-0694, valid 19 Jun 2026 – 18 Jun 2027, covering bottling and packaging under this internationally recognised food-safety standard.
- Punjab Food Authority food business licence — number LHR/M-B/97164832, valid 4 May 2026 – 3 May 2027, licensing Aabdar as a food business (category M-B) in Lahore under the Punjab Food Authority Act 2011.
- PFA label approval — number DG(PFA)/AD(LB)/2026/005053, confirming our bottle label itself was reviewed and formally approved by the Punjab Food Authority.

The PFA licence can be checked on the official PFA app using licence number LHR/M-B/97164832 — no need to take our word for it. What's behind the bottle itself
Aabdar started in 2019 with a single PSQCA-certified plant in Lahore's industrial area. The water goes through seven filtration stages before it's bottled in BPA-free bottles that meet WHO drinking-water standards. Today that plant supplies 5,000+ homes and offices across 12 areas of Lahore — the same certified process, whether it's your first order or your two-hundredth.
